It's the little things

It's been a little while since my last blog. I really have been meaning to post another entry but when I get started I am stopped by a squealing little baby girl or her bossy (but adorable) big sister.

So, I wait ever so patiently, because let's face it...they are more important. I have noticed in the last week or so just how big my toddler is. She is growing so fast! I remember when I thought she would never say a phrase or sentence...now she is telling me to go to my room, or make her sister a bottle. Boy, when did that happen? LOL!!

We are trying the big girl potty thing, but guess what!!! She just isn't interested. One day she does well and then the next she runs, squeals and kicks so I don't put her in big girl panties. What is going on? I try to make it fun for her and she does well 1-2 times and then she is off and running and wants nothing to do with it. We'll get there, I suppose.

Emarie is talking and screeching. She loves to voice her opinion. Lol! She is sleeping through the night in her own bed in her own room and although I know she is alright, I also get up and check on her 4-5 times a night. Breathing...check, not caught up in her blanket....check. The normal mommy stuff. I find myself just breathing in the moments with the girls...I have my favorite snuggle spots with both of them. I love to give Emarie kisses on her forehead and she is quieted down by my doing this when she is fussy. My snuggly spot with Brylee is her sweet little neck and shoulder. She is big now, you know. So she likes for mommy to put her head on her shoulder. She wants to be nuturing. It is wonderful!!! But sad all rolled into one...mommies you know what I am talking about.

So, I continue to snuggle and hug and breathe in the moments that take my breath away. I love my girls.

Jeremy is doing well. Finding out just what it's like to work outside in all types of weather. I worry about him. I know he does dangerous things at work and all I can do is hope and pray that the Lord is watching over him when I can't. I love him so.

Until next time...
