It's been a little while since my last blog. I really have been meaning to post another entry but when I get started I am stopped by a squealing little baby girl or her bossy (but adorable) big sister.
So, I wait ever so patiently, because let's face it...they are more important. I have noticed in the last week or so just how big my toddler is. She is growing so fast! I remember when I thought she would never say a phrase or sentence...now she is telling me to go to my room, or make her sister a bottle. Boy, when did that happen? LOL!!
We are trying the big girl potty thing, but guess what!!! She just isn't interested. One day she does well and then the next she runs, squeals and kicks so I don't put her in big girl panties. What is going on? I try to make it fun for her and she does well 1-2 times and then she is off and running and wants nothing to do with it. We'll get there, I suppose.
Emarie is talking and screeching. She loves to voice her opinion. Lol! She is sleeping through the night in her own bed in her own room and although I know she is alright, I also get up and check on her 4-5 times a night. Breathing...check, not caught up in her blanket....check. The normal mommy stuff. I find myself just breathing in the moments with the girls...I have my favorite snuggle spots with both of them. I love to give Emarie kisses on her forehead and she is quieted down by my doing this when she is fussy. My snuggly spot with Brylee is her sweet little neck and shoulder. She is big now, you know. So she likes for mommy to put her head on her shoulder. She wants to be nuturing. It is wonderful!!! But sad all rolled into one...mommies you know what I am talking about.
So, I continue to snuggle and hug and breathe in the moments that take my breath away. I love my girls.
Jeremy is doing well. Finding out just what it's like to work outside in all types of weather. I worry about him. I know he does dangerous things at work and all I can do is hope and pray that the Lord is watching over him when I can't. I love him so.
Until next time...

Cutesy Little Baby Stuff
My sweet little baby girl is growing so fast. She went from being pretty still and imobile a few weeks ago to kicking, cooing, screeching and rolling over and over and did I mention...over! I put her in her crib to nap or go to bed at night and she just squeals at the light the mobile makes.
I can hear her from every room in the house and I remember before we moved her from the cradle in our room to her crib in another room how I used to be afraid we wouldn't be able to hear her. Yeah, that doesn't seem to be a problem.
When she wakes up now she isn't crying she is talking and giggling. Oh these are such sweet times. I think the blogging will help me remember all the things she is doing. I hate to admit that I have forgotten when Brylee use to do these things. I have to look back at her baby book for the details. I guess that is why we have them, huh.
Brylee is getting so big too. We are in the Potty Training stage and boy do we love it. Once I put the big girl panties on her she is fine with the process, but you give her an option and she is like,"no, Momma, just dis one on" as she grabs a diaper. If only she would just come over to me and say no more diapers. What a day that would be.
She is coloring a lot and drawing. She loves those Color Wonder markers and papers. I hope she is artsy like her grandpa and I are. We love to do artwork/crafts.
Both my girls are doing great! I am so proud that I am priviledged enough to be their Momma. I love it, though some days I still think I am too young/immature for that responsibility. LOL!
Ahhh, another day. Hope all is well with you all.

Sicky bugs can stay AWAY!!!
Whew....what a cRaZy week! I started out Sunday feeling good. My parents came over for breakfast and to see the girls (& us, lol). They brought us homemade biscuits and gravy. Dad hadn't seen the girls and I since New Year's Eve because he has been working 24/7. So, we stayed home from church to visit with them before Dad had to go to his 2nd shift job. I think the Lord would understand that! Hee Hee.
About 11 am this girl starts feeling a raw/scratchy throat. Yay! Within a couple of hours I am just really feeling terrible. I started chilling and just aching all over. I kept asking Jeremy to bring me blankets. I ended up with 2 blankets and our comforter on me and I am still absolutely FREEZING!! Took my temperature and sure enough...102 degrees! Fantastic!
I took hot bath after hot bath to try and warm up...much to my dismay my doctor said I had a nice little case of Strep Throat. I hadn't had strep in YEARS!! Miserable, but still thankful my babies are healthy. Couldn't ask for more.
I like this blogging thing...just sayin'

This is my gorgeous two and half year old daughter, Brylee. She is wearing a pretty little fairy costume her great Aunt Connie got her for Christmas. She is trying to ignore the fact that there is a camera pointed at her. Isn't she a hoot! I love you BabyGirl!
Wishing you all a great and safe weekend.

Number One!
So, I have decided to give this blogging thing a try. I am always up to trying something new...within reason, so here we go.
My week has been a little hectic, but a good one. We started a new shift at work on Monday so we had to retrain ourselves. We had to learn a new way of doing things, managing time, etc. It really wasn't bad. Change can be difficult. But we powered through.
Everyone got over the stomach bug. Luckily the girls weren't effected by it at our house...knock on wood. But Jeremy and I weren't so lucky. Jeremy brought in the New Year with the bug and then our neice, MaLeia got sick and finally me. But we all survived it and did just fine.
Jeremy also got tonsilitis...I don't have mine anymore so I lucked out there. He is recovering with antibiotics.
Last night he had to work late because the pipes froze on the water tower and they had to get them thawed out, so the girls and I hung out, watched movies and fell asleep before Daddy made it home.
We are lucky to have good jobs, good friends and a wonderful family. Hope you are all doing well.
God Bless,
Tonya
